Nonylphenol Ethoxylate (NP 10) is a type of nonionic surfactant that has been used in various industrial applications, including detergents, emulsifiers, and cleaners. It’s part of a group of chemicals known as alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs). NP 10 is created by ethoxylating nonylphenol, which is derived from the alkylbenzenes found in crude oil.
