In 2021, BDC Poland participated in the construction of the tunnel under the Świna River, providing comprehensive technical solutions. The main tasks included determining parameters and supplying the slurry system for the TBM, selecting flocculants for the drilling fluid cleaning system, and applying special agents for emerging engineering challenges. The offered system based on Swellgel MA bentonite was characterized by low viscosity allowing for increased solid phase and a flat flow curve. The knowledge, experience, and materials applied by BDC proved crucial in overcoming numerous engineering challenges.
