BDC-104 is a specially developed liquid blend of latex with surfactants and polymers that improve dispersion and increase the stability of cement slurries. The product forms an impermeable barrier, effectively preventing gas migration through the cement sheath while reducing slurry filtration during setting. BDC-104 improves the quality of the slurry bond both with the casing and with the rock.

BDC-104 can be used in both fresh and salt water. The appropriate BDC-104 concentration
needed to block gas migration depends mainly on the downhole temperature. The product
can be used at temperatures up to 120°C.
